Tara Gallagher serves as an Administrative Support Specialist for the Department of Housing and Residence Education. In her role she serves as the departmental contact in the absence of the Assistant Director for Administrative Services in Occupancy Management. Administrative Services provides customer service to students, families, and visitors regarding housing through various interactions by phone, email, social media, and in-person. She directly supervises and provides leadership to Customer Service Representatives that serve as the first point of contact for the department and manage over 36,000 annual contact inquiries by phone, email, social media, and walk in traffic.
Tara graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Art History and is currently working on her M.Ed in Student Personnel in Higher Education. Tara currently serves as a Co-Instructor for Choices in Leadership and Scholarship: Diverse Perspectives.
