Jason J. Rosenberg
Dr. Rosenberg is a board-certified plastic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a shareholder at the Orthopedic Institute, a multispecialty group of surgeons with offices in Gainesville, Ocala, Lake City and Alachua. He specializes in microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction for women with breast cancer.
Dr. Rosenberg serves the UF Board of Trustees and is a member of the Bull Gator Club®. He has previously served the UF Alumni Association Board of Directors, UF College of Medicine Alumni Board and UF Foundation Board of Directors.
Dr. Rosenberg earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1990, master’s degree in Anatomy in 1993 and his doctorate of medicine in 1995 from the University of Florida. He completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shands Hospital and served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Rosenberg completed a fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. After completing his surgical training, he accepted a position on the University of Florida faculty as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery where he trained young surgeons in plastic surgery and microsurgical techniques.
