Louis H. Oberndorf
Mr. Oberndorf currently serves as a senior fellow at the Center for Excellence in Health Care Practice at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He is the founder of Medical Education Technologies, Inc. (METI), the first company to deliver high-fidelity patient simulation to healthcare education. He grew METI from a start-up with five employees to an international leader in healthcare education and simulation technology, with a presence in more than 2,000 institutions worldwide. Mr. Oberndorf served as President/CEO and then Chairman of the Board before overseeing the sale of METI to CAE Healthcare in August of 2011.
Mr. Oberndorf serves as a director of the UF Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Donor Relations Advisory Council.
Mr. Oberndorf received an MBA in Management from the University of Utah and completed the University of Michigan Senior Management Executive Program. He is a 10-year veteran of the United States Air Force and resides in Sarasota with his wife, Rosemary.
