Monisa Cline

Monisa Cline is a senior executive with extensive experience in the travel industry.  Most recently she was with Carlson Wagonlit Travel as the Senior Vice President & Global Head of Energy, Resources & Marine division.  In that role, she led a global team of 500 professionals responsible for a client portfolio of the world’s leading oil and gas, mining, offshore, marine and alternative energy companies.

Prior to joining CWT, Cline worked as vice president, sales and alliances at Hawaiian Airlines, responsible for expanding their revenue base, managing airline partnerships and overseeing their Reservation call centers.  She previously spent 24 years at Continental Airlines, where she held senior sales positions.  She served as vice president of North America sales and led the widely recognized best in class sales force.

Monisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Florida’s College of Business Administration.  Her career accomplishments include being honored as the “Allied Member of the Year” by the Global Business Travel Association, and serving as president of the Continental Management Association.  Monisa serves on the Advisory Council for Dress for Success Houston and was recently named one of the “Top Fifteen Business Women” in Houston by the National Women’s Council and the National Diversity Council.

While at UF, Monisa began her aviation career as a Campus Representative for a major airline.  Her other accomplishments at UF include being inducted into Florida Blue Key, Florida Cicerones, served as President of Kappa Alpha Theta, Chaired the Homecoming Parade and lettered as a UF Cheerleader.
