“Through the Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, I’ve discovered my love for applying science to help people," he said. "The support I’ve found has made my dreams possible, and I will be attending UF Medical School. I’ve been able to achieve so much in the last four years; I can’t wait to see what can happen in eight years at UF.”

Erik is now a studying to be a doctor at UF Medical School.
